Gold Star Wives Volunteer Their Time
Letter from Gabriel and Adrian MelendezCetto
I got a wonderful letter today from The Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. and I enjoyed reading it, Thank you. It made me want to share the pictures I have; of Kit Frazer, and the others in action. I know it is late in coming but I took on a job that overwhelmed me, as you may understand, shortly after this picture was taken and never got to follow up with the rest of the story. It has taken me awhile to recover but I am going to double back and share these photo with you.
In February, Kit Frazer and many supports of the Snowball Express, like the American Legion came out in force to volunteer their time and support to encourage the Children of Providence Academy, a private school for Children with learning differences. We celebrated the Chinese New Year with the Panda Express Restaurant in Orlando, Florida. Together we raised awareness for the new school and earned over $4,000 in 501c. donations for the school through a silent auction. To all who read this, Thank you for supporting my sons and all the other children of fallen heroes through Snowball Express.
Please thank Kit Frazer, John Tannehill in Orlando and Monsoon Mimagan in Orange County California, especially for all their loving support and encouragement; it goes along way in lifting the heart of this young widow.
